Amarelo

Amarelo is a hybrid strain that has several genetic lineages associated with it. One lineage, developed by Symbiotic Genetics, is Lemonade and Banana Punch #9. Another lineage, created by Brazilian Seed Company, is a sativa from crossing Brazilian Landrace with an IBL, or a strain with an inbred lineage. Either way, Amarelo is a fruity and citrusy strain that tastes a bit like blueberries and apples. The flavor and aroma are enhanced with earthy and woodsy notes. This strain is recognized for its bright neon green buds with yellow undertones, hence the nickname. If you look closer, you may notice some hints of blues within the nugs, which are covered in fine dark orange hairs and a blanket of sparkly, bright white crystals. Consumers note that this strain's effects generally start with a quick uplifting, and energetic effect.
