Berry Runtz is a juicy sweet strain that supposedly comes from a cross between two classics: Zkittlez and Gelato. But, if you know anything about the legendary Runtz family of genetics, Runtz itself combines the genetics of Zkittlez and Gelato. Other sources claim Berry Runtz combines the genetics of Kushberries and White Runtz, created by SunMed Labs, a Maryland based grower and producer. Long story short, the true origins of Berry Runtz are a mystery. But, wherever it comes from, this is a berry forward strain producing dominant terpenes of limonene, beta caryophyllene, myrcene, linalool, and pinene. Altogether, they give this strain its sugary, sweet flavor with a pungent, somewhat gassy aroma. People report Berry Runtz is quite happy and soothing, with sessions often ending in a giggle fit.
