Black Pepper Garlic
Premium hybrid cannabis variety
Last updated: June 4, 2026Black Pepper Garlic — better known as Black Garlic — doesn't taste like a spice rack, but it does carry the funk. Oni Seed Co. grew this one from a GMO x Sour Dubb cross, blending two heavyweights with equally weird backstories. GMO (aka Garlic Cookies) is Mamiko Seeds' cult classic, a Chemdog x GSC cross that's all skunk, gas, and knockout indica weight. Sour Dubb is a mysterious East Coast hybrid tied to Sour Diesel and Sour Bubble — and famously one of the parents behind Gorilla Glue #4. Put them together and you get dense, resin caked buds that smell earthy, peppery, and slightly sweet, with citrus cutting through the funk. Caryophyllene leads the terpene mix, bringing spice and depth, while limonene adds brightness. THC usually tests between 18% and 25%. Smokers say the high lands heavy: a slow sedation that melts into the body and drags appetite along for the ride. Expect hazy calm and creeping drowsiness — a nightcap strain dressed up with a misleading name. Black Pepper Garlic may not taste like garlic bread, but it'll still have you stuck to the couch like melted cheese.
