The most commonly referenced version was created by breeding Mimosa with Blue Cookies (popularly called Blue GSC), though the original breeder remains unknown. Mosca Seeds developed another lineage, Bluemosa, using the same parent strains. Additionally, High Life Farms created a strain called Blue Mosa that crosses Clementine and Purple Punch, representing a different genetic line entirely. Regardless of lineage, Blue Mimosa strains are known for their enticing aroma profile featuring ripe blueberries, sugar, orange, citrus, and tropical fruits that translate into a delicious flavor experience.
