Jelly Cake, sometimes spelled Jellie Cake, is an indica dominant hybrid by most reports, although there may be as many as two different crosses that go by this name. The first is the most widely described, which was created by breeding Biscotti with Sunset Sherbet. This version smells of jelly with creamy notes and has a noticeably sweet flavor. The original breeder for this cross is not known. The other version of Jelly Cake comes from Holy Smoke Seeds and originated as a hybrid of Forbidden Jelly and Seed Junky Genetics' infamous Ice Cream Cake strain. With this latter version, you are likely to enjoy more candy flavors, like watermelon Jolly Ranchers, but you'll still get that creaminess. The Holy Smoke variety is reported to be particularly excellent for extractions.
