Lemon Drizzle

Lemon Drizzle is the name of at least two hybrid strains, both known for their potency and strong sativa dominant character. Though they have different origins and some divergent characters, they do have substantial genetic overlap. In addition to sharing a parent, Super Lemon Haze, they both have contrasting layers of OG Kush ancestry. Origin 1: Sativa dominant hybrid (Real Gorilla Seeds) One of the most recognizable varieties of Lemon Drizzle hails from Real Gorilla Seeds, created from a cross of Super Lemon Haze and WiFi OG (the product of extensive experimentation with OG Kush hybrids). Known for its burst of upbeat social and creative energy when smoked, Real Gorilla’s Lemon Drizzle has a classic sweet and sour citrus flavor and bright, crusty buds. Origin 2: Sativa dominant hybrid (Barney’s Farm) Bred from a cross of Super Lemon Haze and OG Kush, the Barney’s Farm variety of Lemon Drizzle cuts out the extra layers of ancestry separating WiFi OG and its OG Kush ancestor. Reportedly a more cerebral high, Barney’s Lemon Drizzle has an even more Kush forward flavor profile but with the same strong notes of citrus and lemon.
