Mega Queso
Premium hybrid cannabis variety
Mega Queso is a hybrid cultivated by Nameless Genetics in Los Angeles that was grown from a Sativa dominant clone passed down in 2008 by Humboldt based breeder and friend “Josh.”The seed bank maintained a healthy mother for future clones, naming the cut Mega Queso to designate this energetic, flavorful strain. According to the seed bank, the clone only strain grows short and stout, with small leaves and heavily resinous buds that flower in 40-56 days. Heavy resin production reportedly begins during the third week of flowering. The strain is said to have uplifting, rejuvenating effects. Its THCA content averages 21.9%, according to the seed bank, with a terpene profile that includes beta Caryophyllene, limonene, alpha Humulene, and linalool — which may account for the strain’s subtle, cheesy aroma and fruity flavor, especially upon exhale. It won Best Medical Sativa Flower at the SoCal Medical Cannabis Cup in 2017.
