Mexican Red Hair
Premium sativa cannabis variety
On the hunt for a landrace sativa? Mexican Red Hair is about as local as you can get. This Mexican sativa was discovered by The Landrace Team, a three person partnership chasing landrace strains from around the world. Historically, all Mexican strains were known as "red hair," but Mexican Red Hair has been described as the original. It comes from a Mexican sativa sourced from the state of Oaxaca. Genetically, little is known about its predecessors, except they likely came from other landraces in nearby states of Sinaloa and Michoacan. Mexican Red Hair has a distinctly non sweet aroma in today's dessert dominated terpene landscape. It's woody and earthy and, at times, can even smell strongly of cat piss. But thankfully, its flavor profile revolves around tea, lemon, and aniseed. According to The Landrace Team, this is a motivating strain with strongly psychoactive and mood enhancing qualities.
