Moon Pie is an indica dominant hybrid strain. There seem to be several origins related to Moon Pie, though some breeders are unknown. Some believe this strain combines the genetics of Obama Kush and Larry OG, originally bred by Skunk House Genetics. Others say that this strain combines the genetics of Marshmallow OG and Chemdog, and some indicate it's a cross between Girl Scout Cookies and Granddaddy Purple. It's not to be confused with Moon Pie OG.Regardless, Moon Pie has a sweet vanilla cream flavor—similar to the sweet treat after which it's named! Additionally, there are hints of mint and berry, as well as a floral spice, within the sugary flavor and aroma. This strain's dense buds are often small and olive green. Looking closer, you may notice deep purple undertones within the buds, the many orange hairs, and the tiny cool colored sparkling trichome frosting overtop.
